Holly Magady – what a pleasant name! – wrote a deeply felt appreciation for Nonna Betta on the excellent and informative website http://gourmetkoshercooking.com. As we daily endeavour to offer the best of Roman Jewish cuisine, how rewarding this is! Yet another confirmation that we are going in the right direction.

Antonio Tombolini and I know each other quite well. When I told him that I had opened a kosher restaurant in Rome he wrote an article about Nonna Betta….. without having yet tasted one single dish of ours! He could afford to… After reading the article, a renowned gourmet felt provoked: “how dare Tombolini write a review about a restaurant he hasn’t even visited in person….” and then dined here one night. He was not disappointed.
